Fabrizio Del Bianco, dopo precocissime affermazioni (dall’età di undici anni) nella “Coppa Pianisti d’Italia”, si è diplomato col massimo dei voti al Conservatorio G. Tartini di Trieste, sotto la guida del M°. R. Repini, con il quale ha approfondito in seguito anche il repertorio da Camera. Dopo un periodo di perfezionamento sotto la guida del M°. W. Riekert di Stoccarda e di E. Werba, a Vienna e a Siena dove, nel 1985, ha ottenuto il Diploma di merito dell’ Accademia Musicale Chigiana, ha deciso di dedicarsi completamente all’attività di pianista liederista frequentando, a tal scopo, la Scuola H.Wolf di Acquasparta sotto la guida dei M.i Elio Battaglia ed Alessandro Specchi e a Firenze le Master Class del pianista Irwin Gage organizzate dagli Amici della Musica.
E’ stato per diversi anni assistente pianistico dei M.i Battaglia e Gallo ai Corsi Internazionali di Alto Perfezionamento dell’Accademia musicale di Pescara.
Ha collaborato più volte con l’Orchestra del Teatro Verdi di Trieste e, dopo varie esperienze di insegnamento presso i Conservatori di Rovigo, Adria ed Udine, attualmente è collaboratore pianistico titolare presso il Conservatorio G.Tartini di Trieste dove ricopre anche il ruolo di docente del biennio di pianoforte per il repertorio Vocale da Camera. Oltre alla collaborazione con cantanti di fama internazionale in ambito artistico e didattico, la sua attività, maturata anche attraverso lo studio e la pratica della direzione d’orchestra, si esplica in varie formazioni da Camera (anche in ambito barocco in qualità di virginalista). E’ stato ed è docente di pianisti e cantanti più volte affermatisi in campo nazionale ed internazionale, nel repertorio Lirico e da Camera. Nel 2004 ha intrapreso una collaborazione con le principali Istituzioni della Corea del No, essendo stato invitato a tenere dei Corsi di specializzazione inerenti alla figura del maestro collaboratore, in ambito concertistico ed operistico, rivolti ai pianisti dell’Università di Pyongyang.
Nel 2005, assieme al soprano brasiliano Cintia Patricia Correa de Oliveira, ha registrato, presso il Theatro da Paz e su incarico del Ministero della Cultura del Parà (Brasile) il CD “O canto lirico da Belle Epoque” del quale ha curato la revisione di gran parte dei manoscritti e la stesura definitiva del master audio. Da diversi anni si è esibito nelle stagioni concertistiche del Conservatorio “Tartini” con docenti provenienti da importanti istituzioni europee, nell’ambito del progetto Erasmus. Dal 2007 collabora con l’Università di Trieste in qualità di docente cultore per le materie musicali e a tal fine è stato individuato, nel 2008, tra i docenti del Master “Music and Opera management” indetto dalla Facoltà di Scienze della Formazione e dal Teatro “G. Verdi” di Trieste.
Il suo repertorio comprende, oltre a larga parte del repertorio cameristico per flauto e pianoforte, la produzione Vocale da Camera che va da Schulz, Haendel, Mozart, Haydn, Beethoven, Schubert, Mendelssohn, Loewe, Schumann, Brahms, Dvoràk, Liszt, H.Wolf, Schoenberg, Berg, Schreker, Pfitzner, Marx, Mahler, R.Strauss, Fauré, Debussy, Duparc, Chausson, Ravel, Satie, Poulenc, Mompou, Messiaen, De Falla, G.Lorca, Bellini, Donizetti, Verdi, Martucci, Respighi, Pizzetti, Ghedini, Casella, Malipiero, Wolf-Ferrari, Viozzi, Cambissa, V.Levi, Gershwin, Porter, sino ai maggiori compositori sloveni e brasiliani. Di recente ha conseguito il Diploma di Musica Vocale da Camera con il massimo dei voti e la lode, presso il Conservatorio “F. Venezze” di Rovigo.
Il Duo Greco – Del Bianco, attivo da più di venticinque anni, ha affrontato (aiutato in questo anche dai suggerimenti di personalità musicali quali il M.° P.M.Bononi ed il M.° G.Viozzi) gran parte del repertorio Vocale da Camera italiano, tedesco, francese e spagnolo, contribuendo alla divulgazione di un panorama musicale ricchissimo quanto, a volte, sconosciuto. In tale ambito vanno annoverate importanti esibizioni monografiche dedicate alle celebrazioni di musicisti ed autori quali Cocteau, Casella, Cambissa, Viozzi, Messiaen, Debussy, Berg, Schoenberg, inserite in prestigiose rassegne musicali (“La Musica d eee e “Il segreto professionale” [dedicato a Cocteau] presso il Ridotto del Teatro Verdi di Trieste e con la collaborazione del Continuum Musicale, “La Musica e il Tempo”, assieme all’attore Sergio Tedesco, presso l’Auditorium di Gorizia, “Omaggio a Viozzi”, presso il Conservatorio di Trieste in occasione del decennale dalla morte del compositore, “Concerto in ricordo di G.Cambissa”, presso l’Auditorium del Museo Revoltella di Trieste) o esecuzioni dedicate al Lied tedesco, alle Liriche Italiane del ‘900 ed a celebri pagine belcantistiche, inserite in Giornate di Studio organizzate dall’Università di Udine e tenute da relatori insigni quali la Prof. Zanoncelli, il Prof. Albarosa ed il Prof. Rizzuti. Nel 1994 ha partecipato ad una tournée in Mongolia, dove, oltre al successo ottenuto esibendosi al Teatro di Stato di Ulan Bator, è stato invitato a tenere delle “Lezioni – concerto sul Belcanto” presso il Liceo Musicale e l’Università della capitale asiatica. Il Duo, insieme al M.° Giorgio Blasco, è stato tra i promotori del Festival “Hortus Niger” (Croazia) e, oltre a numerosi Seminari e Master Class dedicati alla produzione Vocale da Camera di Casella, Tosti, Brahms, Schubert, ha curato l’allestimento e la direzione di Opere del repertorio barocco, quali La Serva Padrona di G.B.Pergolesi, La Cantata del Caffè di J.S.Bach, in forma scenica, e del dramma buffo Il Matrimonio Segreto di D.Cimarosa. Ha effettuato registrazioni per la RAI e per l’ORF di Salisburgo, in occasione del “Festival di Hellbrunn” del 1986. Nel 1998 il Duo, con la collaborazione della Prof. Luisa Zanoncelli in veste di relatrice, ha tenuto, nell’ambito delle manifestazioni promosse dal Conservatorio “Tartini” di Trieste, un Seminario dedicato ai “Rueckert Lieder” di G. Mahler e dal 2000 si dedica alla diffusione del repertorio Vocale da Camera italiano, con particolare attenzione agli autori del ‘900. In tale contesto rivestono estrema importanza i programmi, dedicati alla produzione cameristica di V. Bellini, G. F. Malipiero e A. Casella, che la formazione ha presentato nel 2004 a Pechino, presso l’Ambasciata d’Italia in Cina, su invito dell’Ufficio Culturale dell’Ambasciata stessa ed a Pyongyang, presso lo Yun I Sang Music Hall, su invito di Korea Performing Art Exchange Society. In quest’ultimo caso si trattava del primo concerto in assoluto di artisti italiani con un programma di musica Vocale da Camera italiana e l’evento è stato integralmente ripreso dalla televisione della RPD di Corea. Nel 2009 il Duo ha proposto in importanti sedi concertistiche, oltre alla produzione vocale da Camera di R. Strauss, A. Dvoràk e Debussy, composizioni di F. Mompou e del musicista triestino Vito Levi.
Nel luglio 2011 i due artisti hanno inaugurato, con il concerto “La Lirica italiana dalle corti rinascimentali al ‘900”, la prima edizione del Concorso Internazionale di Canto “Rosa Ponselle”.

Biography
Fabrizio Del Bianco, after participating in the contest “Coppa Pianisti d'Italia” (Italian Pianists Award) when he was only 11 years old, he was awarded a diploma with full marks at the Trieste Conservatory G. Tartini, under Maestro R.Repini, with whom he also improved his studies of chamber music. After a specialization period in Vienna and Siena, under Maestro W. Riekert from Stuttgart and E. Werba, in 1985 he obtained a Diploma di Merito at the Chigiana Musical Academy of Siena. After that, he decided to dedicate completely to the activity of liederist pianist; therefore he attended the school H.Wolf in Acquasparta, under Maestro Elio Battaglia and Alessandro Specchi, as well as the Master Class lessons by pianist Irwin Gage, organized by Amici della Musica in Florence.
For many years he worked as pianist assistant for Maestro Battaglia and Gallo during the International High Specialization Courses at the Musical Academy of Pescara. He often collaborated with the orchestra of the Teatro Verdi of Trieste and he also taught in the Conservatory of Rovigo, Adria and Udine. Now he is working both as regular pianist collaborator and as piano teacher for the vocal chamber repertoire of the first two school years at the Conservatory G.Tartini of Trieste. He has worked with internationally well-known singers, both as musician and teacher; his activity, which has grown wider thanks to the study and practice of orchestra direction, has developed in various chamber ensembles (also in baroque ensembles as virginalist). He has been and he is now a teacher for national and international pianists and singers, both in opera and chamber repertoire.
In 2004 he collaborated with the main institutes of North Korea; he was invited there to deliver some Specialization Courses, for the pianists of the University of Pyongyang, about the collaborator maestro within the concert and opera field.
In 2005, on behalf of the Ministry of Culture of Parà (Brazil), he recorded the CD “O canto lirico da Belle Epoque”, together with the Brazilian soprano Cintia Patricia Correa de Oliveira. He was in charge of reviewing various manuscripts and the final draft of the audio master. For many years, during the concert seasons, he has performed at the “Tartini” Conservatory with teachers coming from important European institutions within the Erasmus project. Since 2007 he has collaborated with the University of Trieste as music teacher; in 2008 he was chosen to be one of the teachers for the Master course in “Music and Opera management”, organized by the Faculty of Education Science and by the Verdi Theatre of Trieste.
His repertoire includes, together with chamber repertoire for flute and piano, the Chamber Vocal production that goes from Schulz, Haendel, Mozart, Haydn, Beethoven, Schubert, Mendelssohn, Loewe, Schumann, Brahms, Dvoràk, Liszt, H.Wolf, Schoenberg, Berg, Schreker, Pfitzner, Marx, Mahler, R.Strauss, Fauré, Debussy, Duparc, Chausson, Ravel, Satie, Poulenc, Mompou, Messiaen, De Falla, G.Lorca, Bellini, Donizetti, Verdi, Martucci, Respighi, Pizzetti, Ghedini, Casella, Malipiero, Wolf-Ferrari, Viozzi, Cambissa, V.Levi, Gershwin, Porter, up to the main Slovenian and Brazilian composers. Recently he obtained the Diploma for Chamber Vocal Music with full marks and cum laude at the Conservatory “F.Venezze” of Rovigo.
Greco – Del Bianco duet, has been performing for more than 30 years. Thanks to the help of important figures like Maestro P.M.Bononi and Maestro G.Viozzi, they have been able to perform a wide part of the Italian, German, French and Spanish Chamber Vocal repertoire. In this way they have helped spread a very rich, but sometimes unknown, musical panorama. In this sense, we can remember two important monograph performances dedicated to the celebration of authors like Cocteau, Casella, Cambissa, Viozzi, Messiaen, Debussy, Berg, Schoenberg, within famous musical reviews (“La Musica del ‘900” and “Il Segreto Professionale” [dedicated to Cocteau] at the Ridotto del Teatro Verdi of Trieste and with the collaboration of Continuum Musicale, “La musica e il Tempo”, together with the actor Sergio Tedesco, at the Auditorium of Gorizia, “Omaggio a Viozzi”, at the Conservatory of Trieste in occasion of the tenth anniversary from the composer's death, “Concerto in ricordo di G.Cambissa”, at the Auditorium del Museo Revoltella of Trieste) or other performances dedicated to the German Lied, to the Italian Lyrics of the 20th century and to other famous Bel Canto lyrics, within some “Study Days” organized by the University of Udine and with the participation of important lecturers like Prof. Zanoncelli, Prof. Albarosa and Prof. Rizzuti.
In 1994 they took part in a tour in Mongolia, where besides having great success at the State Theatre of Ulan Bator, they were invited to deliver some lessons about “Bel Canto concerts” at the Music School and University of the Asiatic capital. The duet was also among the promoters of the Festival “Hortus Niger” (Croatia); together with various Seminars and Master Classes dedicated to the Chamber Vocal production of Casella, Tosti, Brahms, Schubert, they were also in charge of the staging and direction of Baroque works, like La Serva Padrona by G.B.Pergolesi, la Cantata del Caffè by J.S.Bach, in a stage form, as well as the comic opera Il Matrimonio Segreto by D.Cimarosa. In 1986 they worked for RAI and for ORF of Salzburg, in occasion of the “Hellbrunn Festival”. In 1998, in collaboration with Prof. Luisa Zanoncelli as lecturer, they delivered a Seminar dedicated to the “Rückert Lieder” by G.Mahler and promoted by the Conservatory “Tartini” of Trieste. Since 2000 they have been engaged in the promotion of the Italian Chamber Vocal repertoire, with special attention to the authors of the 20th century. Within this context, it is important to remember their programmes dedicated to the Chamber production of V.Bellini, G.F.Malipiero and A.Casella. In 2004 they introduced these programmes to the Italian Embassy in China, invited by the Embassy Cultural Office, and also to the Yun I Sang Music Hall, in Pyongyang, invited by the Korea Performing Art Exchange Society. In this case it was the first concert of Italian Chamber Vocal Music performed by Italian artists; the event was recorded by the television of the Korean Republic. In 2009 the duet performed in important concert halls not only the Chamber Vocal production of R.Strauss, A.Dvoràk and Debussy, but also the production of F./ and of the musician Vito Levi, born in Trieste. Last July, the duet inaugurated the first edition of the International Singing Contest “Rosa Ponselle”, with the concert “The Italian Lyric from the Renaissance courts to the 20th century”.
